Relax, I am not going to go into detail about the eukaryotic cells that make-up my body or the various types of bonds holding our molecules together. However, it would probably be more interesting. But, before I really get started analyzing and summarizing papers and providing you with basic scientific information, I figured I would give you a little bit more information about myself.
This is one of those, when I was a child posts that makes you wonder why in the first place you even clicked on this link. Ever since I was a child, I had wanted to become a medical doctor but somewhere along the way life happened and I ended up where I am today. Even though, I am not on the path to become an MD, I made sure to acquire a pre-medical background while in my undergraduate studies. I have always been fascinated by all aspects of science. The one disadvantage to graduating with such a broad degree is that you have such a wide knowledge base that most disciplines find you to be “not focused enough.” This was why I had decided to go back to school for a more highly specialized and focused degree. MS and MD degrees might be off by a few letters (aside from you know being a medical doctor), the education I received from Drexel University’s College of Medicine put me in the same classes with future MD’s and MD/PhD’s. Talk about imposter syndrome (YIKES). Adding all of this training together has given me this unique position to understand and interpret a wide variety of disciplines.
